Ken: IBM could take Sun out and tell the DOJ they were doing it in response to HWP/CPQ as a defensive measure<GGG>. Besides, why would IBM buy Sun at this juncture? Just to shut it down and reduce competition? Can you imagine if they tried to "merge" product lines? It would be only a little less crazy than HWP/CPQ. Non-starter. SUNW/ORCL? Could happen. Not out of the question. But not today, I betcha. No merger. Layoffs & guidance. --QS
