namastie- if Reality = Truth and egoic perception = personal reality then egoic perception is not equal to Reality and/or Truth just to be logical about it, your equation needs a little work. if egoic perception = personal reality it does NOT necessarily follow that egoic perception is NOT equal to SOMETHING ELSE too. nor does it follow that IT IS equal to something else. (there's not enough information in your equation to support the conclusion) BTW, the buddha was mistaken. desire is the fundamental force of evolution. and... pain and suffering is one of nature's ways of giving directional guidance. he was an awful nice dude though. :-) -wizard
