Perhaps you're right here, however if the gov't were to outlaw the buying/selling of gold, or even just shutdown the gold trading centres, then what?

I suspose I could eventually find someone who would want to barter for my gold but I would physically have to hold it. Goldgrams and egold would be of no use I would think if trading was to be shutdown. there would be no way to convert your gold.

Before everyone freeks out, we are just speculating here!
