< Many people here have argued that heat sinks falling off has a very slim chance of happening, but if you were in charge of purchasing the systems, would you leave it up to chance? >

Fans do indeed fail often enough after a few years.

Heat Sink are hard to fall off. Although I have seen boards and chips jarred loose after a cross country shipment on a truck. A mistake in manufacturing when you attach the heat sink, and poof, you burn out a complete computer ! Not acceptable to any computer manufacturer ! This will cause all screwdriver shops to pause and rethink. AMD does need to fix this in a hurry.
