David, Thanks for stating your position. You seem very firm in your convictions, and that's OK with me. It seems inappropriate for me to directly challenge any of your points of view, not because I have the same views, but because I don't want to argue with you about issues that are probably peripheral to the question of one's direct relationship with God. If you are interested in enhancing your relationship with Jesus, you might wish to read one chapter of the Urantia book, to get its flavor. It is said to be taken from the "thoughts" of some 1000 persons who lived at the time of Jesus and who had some direct knowledge of Him. You may wish to dismiss that at sheer BS, but anyway a link is below. I have no connection with the Urantia Society, but I found the book to be quite extraordinary, in many ways.
