From briefing.com ---------------- Cisco has also agreed to acquire privately-held Ardent Communications Corp., a pioneer in designing combined communications support for compressed voice, LAN, data and video traffic across public and private Frame Relay and ATM networks. Under terms of the agreement, Cisco will exchange approximately $156 million worth of its stock for the outstanding shares and options of Ardent. ---------------- Will this be competition for ANET?
