It appears from everyone's discussion of SyJet availability that mail order houses are the ones plagued by back orders. Every store outlet I have been to, Frys, CompUSA and others, have had some units on the shelf and of course at a higher price. Just because mail order houses can't get enough of them doesn't mean that Syquest can't produce enough. Syquest has to ration off the product to all its resellers, distributors and direct customers. So I'm sure delays are inevitable. The demand must be pretty good if most mail orders are BO. In the end as shareholders, isn't that what we want - that they sell tons of product and obviously make them that fast as well and maintain a healthy back order.

Question: Is Syquest's Far East plant going to manufacture only cartridges or drives too?
