AMD will officially launch Hammer in the second half of 2002, with shipments slated for 2003 or so, Ruiz said in a recent interview with SBN. [Comment : ouch! that hurts] Hammer started in 1998 didn't it? If it comes out in 2003, that's five years in the making. Intel's Merced didn't started in 1994 with first silicon in 1999 - also 5 years. You AMD investors better think about this one. Monica
