Four Seasons Hotel is upscale and in the heart of the city. One of my best freinds from here got married there last year. I remember the lobby was real grande and there were chandeliers everywhere. The Georgian Room was exquisite.
Jane:
Stayed there, thank you for your advice, it was wonderful. Probably the best vacation I have had since Hawaii with my wife in 84. Spent a lot of time at Pike's Market on the waterfront. Had quality time with my family, and was able to have some serious discussions with my son, who lives in the Magnoli section of Seattle. He is 26, and worried about his future (work, love life etc.). Told him "just be yourself" and everything will be all right. Also told him to build his career, works for Providence Medical Centers, and look to go into business for himself in 5 to 10 years. I am in a position to help him, and I think we have laid the groundwork on a 10 year plan.
Hope everything is well with you, have not read any of your posts in about the last 30 days, hope you have been able to outsmart this turbulent market.
Exciting thing, I have a comp for Vegas in early November at a suite at the Flamingo. Two weeks ago booked my son on a flight from Seattle for 85.00 round trip to LV. Also bringing with me my former teacher in high school, who is now a 70 year old Circuit Court judge. My wife has passed on the the trip, so this may be a very interesting journey.
Best of luck to you, and thank you again.
Warmest Personal Regards, |
