PCSTEL: The need for data is going to be huge once everyone shuts off their phone service with companies like BellSouth or SBC. (I wonder what will happen to unemployment then.) All the internet services are going to be offered by wireless operators. This is why operators need voice and data. Once we have a viable wireless internet platform - none exists yet - the last phone plugs will get pulled from the wall.

Not that many people are going to stick with Nextel's SMR radio service. I've used nextel service - it is the worst communications service I have ever seen. I switched to PCS back in 1998, realizing that NXTL was a dead end. It's not worthy of conversation.
