This post is a reminder to myself, and to others, that this conflict is not about religion, but about the evil that can live in the hearts of men--even those who loudly profess their religiosity .

Lately, even before 9.11, Americans seemed to have developed this perception of Muslims as being rabid devotees of a religion which justified their violence. The sense was, "We Christians would never do such a thing in the name of The Lord". Yet the greatest scourge of the 20th century did just that.

And I am a Christian.
