I agree about the timing issue, but saying this is not a war against Islamic nations is non-sence. Are Good allies the Saudi's wont allow us to use are own air base on their soil to retaliate for attacks within our country? The problem is there are no moderate Arab nations IMHO, just less millitant. If you see the interviews in schools in Pakistan, SA, Egypt and other so called moderate states they are being taught hate and that America is their enemy. There was one guy talking about how genrous Bin laden was with charity, are these people even aware that the USA gave Afghan 150 million in aid? We are their enemies no matter how nice they are to us when we negotiate. I do agree that afghan is a sticky situation and needs to be taken out first. However the preperations for the long conflict to eradicate our enemies must begin. Either America steps up here, or we become another relic of history. If and when a terrorist nukes NY, there will be no recovery back to the way it was. We are way to suseptable having to many economic interests concentrated in to small an area. Frankly NY should be turned in to a giant fort because if Ny is every eliminated America as we know it will be a shell of what it is. IMHO
