Did the United States really care about the Kurds, or was that just pretext to build a case against Sadaam?

I wonder if it possible to have an unwavering position and not stoop to doing business with screwballs, dictators, Monarchs, and other scoundrels dressed up in their finery?

Now, the American Government, and it's lapdog media, are so concerned about the plight of women in Afghanistan?

Oh really?

If the American Government is so concerned about women, why don't they look into the infant death statistics in it's own country, particularly in the inner cities of America?
