Re the Fundie Muslim Whackos. Yes they are a force unto themselves, sure the CIA screwed up helping them regain their freedom, but they are not the CAUSE of those whackos. If you check the record, I don't think they expected or asked them to go into the Kashmir or to crash into the WTC in NY.

That is the whole point. Before one does something, one should consider the consequences. Remember the fundamentalist muslims didnt even come from Afghanistan. So you cant say the CIA helped them regain freedom. The CIA wanted to help ANYONE who was willing to fight the Russians. They got the fundie muslims. Most of them came from other muslim countries. You could say that what the CIA got were the misfits of the muslim world. And they didnt even care. Once the Russians were out of Afghanistan, the CIA JUST left no matter how big a mess. The fundies then took over the country and now the Afghan people had talebans instead of the russians. women were thrown out of jobs, they were not permitted to go to school and had to cover trhemsleves from head to toe. They just became property and producers of muslim kids to be trained by the jihadi.

What the CIA did was to go for a shit and not do the paperwork. That shit spread its filth into, among other places, kashmir and India. No one cared as hundreds of people got killed in Bomb blasts in Kashmir and the middle of cities like Bombay and Delhi. With enuf success, they felt brave enuf to successfully attack the US.

So when you say that the CIA didnt ask them to attack kashmir or the US, I am just saying that the CIA created the monster which became a force unto themsleves.

And the further irony is that when the American forces go to fight them in Afgahnistan, OBL and his men will be using the same weapons that were provided by the CIA.
