You are making the mistake that the Palestinians are just like people from Iowa.

They don't want what "we" want, necessarily. They have been brainwashed into believing that the U.S. and Israel have dishonored them, and in that region this is avenged in blood, despite whatever deprivations must be suffered in the meantime..

Think 1001 A.D., not 2001 A.D.....
