Hmm, your kid must have a great future in the field of international law??

Isn't the general understanding common in US that the definition of "civilization", like
in "rule of law", in contrast to the "wild west", even internationally meaningful american
inventions like "lynchings" is that:

- civilization is when a society is ruled by (common, approved of) law, not by
personal vendettas, revenge, etc...

I know that US has a problem improving the constitution, a real dilemma, but I thought
at least that basic thing was common knowledge??

The next question is obviously how one improves the law, which in terms of USA and it's
1700s constitution and lots of lawyers means one needs to sort out what is the latest interpretation
or paragrpah saying the opposite to the earlier one??

Do you guys only watch FOX, no time for CSPAN and the Courts??
