I think time will prove you wrong and make me rich beyond my dreams... the Japanese lined up for days to get a piece of www.tom.com ipo...as the dot.com bubble was bursting. if the japanese move 1% of there savings into gold, they will buy all the gold that can be mined for the next 5 years. the short position is currently at least 2 1/2 years supply. likely more then 5 years. the amount of money printed by the fed since sept 11 could buy all the gold stocks in the world. does that make any sense? gold will fly. equities are dead and dying...t-bill yield is depressing. I think we are at the start of a new bull market in gold. it will likely end with a gold market bubble. I think this bubble could lead to bullion prices of over $2000 and ounce. Even $10,000 in the the next 10 years. the only thing backing the US Dollar is confidence....don't forget that. nothing else. they have been increasing the money supply like mad...they will need to print even more...even faster going forward. we will are either going to entry a new great depression or we are going to have a printing party that will steal wealth from those that save and reward those that are in debt or in gold and silver. good luck, bambs p.s. JPM buying 8% of HGMCY is the sign that we are at the end of the gold shorting game. think about it. how else can they cover? if you were shorting gold for years and thought the game was about to end what would you do? I know that I would buy up unhedged producers like hgmcy before I stop shorting and start buying gold. to do other wise would be idiotic. they are buying the gold companies...they will hold down gold as long as they can and the gold stocks will continue to climb...then they will let gold rip and make money off there gold stocks. bambs
