Support moderate regimes that can control their radical elements, and contain those regimes that have crossed the threshold, and cut off their economic lifelines until they get an "attitude adjustment". This sounds like the static quo. Isn't this what we have done with Iraq for the last 10 years and didn't it create one mother of an attitude? M
