Here's where we stand: You think my examination of the issues makes me a coward, and what I think of your reasoning abilities, if honestly posted, would get me kicked off this thread.

Here's where the White House stands:

So far, the Bush team has invested a lot time in diplomatic efforts in order to heighten the probabilities of a successful outcome. They are taking a multi-pronged approach, of which the military component is not the major component. Very wise, IMO.

There has not been a knee jerk military reaction--an approach that,apparently, would have made you feel safe, but would have probably broadened the scope of the conflict, and undermined its ultimate effectiveness.

There's a lesson in there.
