Eco Terrorists.

True story told to my husband about a year ago.

The Lumber industry held their annual meeting in an undisclosed location somewhere in the woods of Canada. The only access in and out of this meeting was over a very high wooden bridge that spanned a river that ran through a narrow, rocky, gorge several hundred feet below. The lumber delegates were all bussed in due to a lack of parking. I don't know how many days this meeting took place, but on the last day there were hundreds of spikes found sticking up through the floor of the bridge. If any of the busses returning the delegates had driven over these spikes, the likely scenario would have been loss of control and driving off of the bridge and falling into the gorge below resulting in a large loss of life.
