FWIW, Berkshire Hathaway "A" shares reached new highs recently, after dropping momentarily following the terrorist incident. If Berkshire stock is considered reasonably priced, then many other insurance and technology stocks that have low or no debt must also be considered undervalued. As for the oils, even the slightly lower price that the OPEC countries are aiming at is still strong enough to allow reasonable profits for companies with average quality reserves. I fail to understand where the bearish attitudes come from, at least when discussing oil stocks and stocks of several telecom equipment providers.
