(0008), Richard Li's Asian communications vehicle, plans to cut its residential and commercial telephone services fees and to sell its non-core businesses including part of its on-line financial businesses to enhance competitiveness, the Hong Kong Economic Times reported, citing market rumors. Deputy Chairman Linus Cheung didn't deny the rumors when answering the paper's enquiries, only saying that there was misunderstanding in the issues, the Chinese paper reported.
