Barnes weathered yesterday's storm quite well. With the Dow down 192 points yesterday Barnes (B) was up a 1/4, and appears to be following through today up another 1/2 at 11:30. 1100 shares went through at the opening at 27 1/4 up 1/4, and there appears to be additional offers waiting in the wings. Just a thought, but with earnings due out in the next 3-4 weeks maybe someone is buying in anticipation of earnings release on 7/11/97. FWIW, Gary
