You may be able to gain more insight about Ike if you read the following: geocities.com Very impressive history and you may gain more appreciation for the people in that area. Check out also the history of Peshawar. Hopefully some appreciation can be developed in that area. Ike is quite learned and is above any boundaries. Check out his recent post on the golden age of Islam and you can see Ike's anguish on what it once was and what it could be. But that goes around in other areas of the world as well. Such human frailty and whereupon man's concept of the struggle between evil and good. IMHO, any kind of religious fundamentalist and extremists tend to stifle progess for mankind since it sees things in a very didactically narrow way.
