G, Call me an optimist but I really believe that most muslims get it. They have a bunch of religious fanatics that will set them back centuries. And although there might be a conscious or even sub-consious desire to give the US a shove, these folks understand that a world without the US would be a horror show. General Mushrawi is in sync with his population. I have many paksistani acquaintances who are quite happy with the choice Pakistan has made. If the fundamentalists tangle with him they will pay a heavy price. mike
