I hear that powders tends to deteriorate with time, like the black 3010. What precautions do you take to ensure they
stay good? A hunter friend of mine once blamed loss of a game he shot due to poor quality ammo used. I though that factory made ammo are supposed to keep indefinitely! NOT?

I used to keep abreast of developments in the ammo and gun world but have not been doing that for quite a while.

What I learnt from a dealer five minutes ago is that it is now far cheaper to buy, for example, shotgun shells than to assemble your own.
