Unfortunately since the short interest has gotten so high on all three exchanges, there's little likelyhood at the present time, that anything but a negative spin is going to be put on any news about the economy or even about shorting in general, from the segment of the investing universe that is heavily shorting. They can't risk or afford to have any other attitude right now.
