I have golf info! Looks like we can play for under 100 if we take a twilight tee time. Some start their twilight rates @ 12ish and others (ie..the good ones) start at 1:30. According to the sunset charts it'll be dark by 6:15 Badlands--100 bux after 1:30..unlikely we'll finish the round, but it sure is purty and if we play..say 16 holes we may break that magic 120<g> There are a couple on municipal course, read POS, that will let us play for a mere 60-65 bux after 12.. I guess we should decide if we want a nice course or just to hit the ball around and have some laughs. Apparently they gouge tourists as much as possible. The munies will be closer to the strip, but surrounded by houses on the fairways. Then again one can hit an errant ball and still play out of the fairway 2 holes over<g>...I would imagine there aren't any "BEWARE RATTLESNAKE" signs either The golfchick said she had access to a really sweet private course called Anthem. It's a country club and supposed to be the absolute nuts..play is through canyons. 185 per head for mornings and 110 after 1:40. IF money is no object then that would be the ticket here' what I have: Badlands 200 or 100 after 1:20 Black Mountain (muni) 110 or 60 after 2:00 Highland Falls* 95 after 12:00 Las Vegas GOlf Club (muni) 65 after 12:00 Las Vegas National 100 after 1:30 Painted Dessert 160 or 95 after 1:30 Palm Valley* 95 after 12:00 Wild Horse 120 or 90 after 1:30 Anthem Country Club 185 or 110 after 1:40 Revere CC 190 or 95 after 1:40 *the best deals, according to her, were Highland and Palm. They are surrounded by houses in a retirement community, but they start the twilight in shotgun form so we are assured of getting in 18 feedback needed ASAP..who's interested?? lasvegasgolf.com
