I never said to not try to prepare but was trying to say to be realistic. >>The Israeli civilians used gas mask during the attacks buy Iraq.<< No biological/chemical was used on Israel by Iraq. As a matter of fact, some Israelis died from suffocation in their masks because they didn't know how to use them. ( Reported on CNN) I still maintain you won't even know you have been exposed until it is too late unless you are near a military base or civil service area where sensors are in operation or you have your own supply of M-8 and M9 Chemical detection paper which gives is highly toxic and gives false positives at times. Hopefully this whole exchange will be for naught and we won't have to find out but I would wager that the casualties would be close to the same for those that have masks and those that don't. Do I have gas masks? Of course but I have had them for years! Do I think I could protect my kids in the case of an attack. Sadly, No. Good Luck, Lee
