well, my position re. the Euro remains the same: i still think the introduction of physical notes and coins will be to its benefit. capital flows from the Euro-zone to the US have also turned in favor of the Euro in recent months - with the 'new economy' being revealed for what it truly was/is, namely an old-fashioned financial bubble, European companies have stopped buying US corporations left and right. with these direct investment flows reversing, the burgeoning current account deficit will begin to weigh on the dollar.
