This is getting ridiculous can't the stewerdess explain it to the captain via intercom?

P.S. The luggage checks at the airport are not going to accomplish a whole lot, and metal detecting old ladies at the security checkpoint isn't going to help either. They need to put more emphasis on scrutinizing the passengers.

A good place to start is identifying people with expired visas who are still in the country and attempting to fly.
