"any day," i.e., any time between now and Dooms Day. I'd guess by July 15. Why? Because it's been 3 weeks since Debbie Salle said "soon" and anything beyond a month is not "soon." TI. . . already at Amati and has been for at least that long. Based on RC saying it takes 2 months on average to tweak, I'd say first of August. Alcatel. . . I've been told end of '97, first of '98. ADI/AWRE . . . is it out yet? I remember hearing "two weeks" but don't know how long ago. Seems to me it's been that long. Amati's VDSL . . . Q1 '98. <g> [BTW, ALA and Amati are working feverishly on the standard for this. . . hand in glove, I'm told.] Don't know that I've helped a bit. Cheers! Pat
