It would be if anyone would put a stake in the ground and offer a thesis that could be debated and refined.

Through the RTW newsletter, Paul has written extensively about the use of ROIC. Pirah has written a lot about DCF analysis. Mucho has written about PSR analysis. I've written about PEG analysis. Malcolm has written about making comparisons to money's yield. A lot of us have written about free cash flow as opposed to earnings. It's embarrassing that I can't remember quickly off the top of my head the numerous other discussions by others about valuation. My point is that many stakes have been driven into the ground.
