Lihir has moved so much I just thought I would mention it. Their Denver Gold Conference presentation was good. They have most operational problems behind them, reduced cash costs from $269 in 1998 to $193 now, and total cost from $332 to $255. This information is already priced into the stock so I would not be chasing it near its 52 week highs, along with reasons you pointed out. Thank you for your comments. I'll just keep mentioning various gold/silver stocks and maybe get some comments on "Gold and Silver Mining Stocks" when the fueding dies down <g>
