Dear Marcos and Thread,

When the majors look for reserves do they in general have some preferred criteria for making a short list? In other words does say proximity to one of their current mines play a big part or political stability of the country or is the type of mine and deposit a higher priority? Knowing these factors would it be interesting or useful to project which are the most "preferred" explorers using some objective criteria , who their likely suitors would be and why?
