Hi Russ, good idea this «moderated thread». People interested in diamonds (hope you accept comments about «precious minerals» and not only «precious metals»!) should have a look at what is happening right now in the James Bay area in northern Québec. Big players are now involved (BHP and Ashton) and share prices of the companies involved in the two more advanced project (ACA and MAJ) are going up every weeks. And some rumors are spreading right now.. Two areas should be watched: 1) The Otish Mountains where diamonds were discovered in the past (DIT) end where ACA/SOQUEM and MAJ/BHP are drilling right now. 2) The Wemindji area where MAJ is going to drill soon. Some minor players are also involved with serious exploration programs or are waiting for a nice hit by competitors (SOI, GMX. GWC, DOR...). Worth a look IMHO JP
