8:33AM Osha on DRAM : Merrill Lynch analyst Joe Osha says that DRAM pricing is creating problems for every manufacturer; states that rationalization is not as rapid as had been hoped and companies with weak competitive positions such as Hynix, Powerchip, Nanya, and Winbond are showing no signs of exiting business; believes Samsung and Micron (MU) will emerge triumphant but a recovery will not occur until a second tier player exits the business and inventories can then be worked down.
