Cox Uses ARRIS' HFC Equipment to Deliver Voice, Video and Data in Oklahoma City

ARRIS Products Combine with Cox's Ring-in-Ring HFC Architecture To Provide High Degree of Reliability
DULUTH, Ga., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS - news; a new company formed by the merger of ANTEC and Arris Interactive, L.L.C.), a global communications technology leader in the development of advanced cable telephony solutions and the delivery of converged services across the broadband local access network, today announced that Cox Communications, Inc. (NYSE: COX - news) is using ARRIS transport and telephony service applications to deliver voice, video and data service in Oklahoma City. The ARRIS HFC product portfolio enables Cox Communications to deliver reliable high performance video and data service as well as carrier-grade telephony to its subscriber base.

The ARRIS equipment includes Laser Link® Proteus(TM) scaleable nodes, 1550 and 1310 nm optical transmitters, return receivers, RF integrators for the transmission path, Cornerstone® HDT's and VoicePorts(TM) for voice communications, Digicon® connectors and Regal® taps and passives.
