Not so FAST ---- Central Asia was on the US priority list even before 1996 then we had the Azerbaijan / Armenia conflict and Georgia etc. The whole area is not stable as it is on the Northern border of the Imaginative aspired to Caliphate of the Arab world. Iran is the wild card much more than Afghanistan. On both sides of Iran borders are populated by different sects of Islam which do not have any love lost to Iran. Shrub can preach how much he wants ......... that we are not in the midst of a religious upheaval in the Arab world as a result of high oil prices of over a generation ........ The unexpected riches concentrated in the hand of few in the Arab world sparked just that ......... a religious upheaval.............. those few once feeling poor now think they can rule the world and already fight for leadership. What unite them is their aspiration for the Great Caliphate which will rule the world. It is obvious that Shrub and many of his advisers are not reading and understanding the Arab press............... bells and whistles went off long time ago .............. but no one cared ........... and more so Clinton BWDIK Haim
