This is right. One bad shot is not allowed to screw your whole round, just as one losing trade shouldn't be allowed to screw your whole day. One level higher is that you have only 18 holes a day in any one round, don't let one hole screw the other 17.

Over time, how many bad shots does a Tiger Woods player make in any given year, but look at his performance when he's on his game, not allowing any one tournament or win or loss to dictate his future rounds.

When a trader is on his game or "in his zone", that win cluster is amazing. But so can be drawdowns if he dwells on negatives, not refocusing to make them positives again.
