From Briefing: 4:12PM Lam Research (LRCX) 16.79 -1.91: -- Update -- Company reports Q1 earnings ex-items of $0.21 per share; $0.05 better than the consensus; reports Q1 revenues of $339.6 mln versus the consensus estimate of $323.3 mln; shipments for the quarter were approximately $133 million; see press release. I don't get it. How did they get 300M in revenue with only 133M in shipments? Service contracts? Deferred revenue?
