This is where U.S. government has failed miserably ... in being able to see that other countries have as much right to defend themselves against terrorism as the U.S. does. U.S. has always projected a very selfish attitude about how they deal with political situations. They think about the short term gains and lose sight of the long term. That's why so many things come back to bite them in the ass ... because their thinking is short term.

The U.S. is implementing a flawed strategy to fight terrorism because their intelligence people failed to do their job properly. They are having to retrace their steps and find themselves sleeping with the worst terrorists in order to protect themselves. Not a good situation to find youself in ... and a clear sign of the unbelievable failure of American intelligence agencies.
