Re: ...reports are they took another one, a French journalist dressed as a Afghani lady.

LOL! Indeed, the French will flinch from nothing to get a piece of the action in Afghanistan... They're really pissed off that the Yanks snubbed them. Prez Chirac went even as far as claiming that the US asked France to "pledge additional military supplies" but, so far, Bush met Germany's Chancellor Schroeder and France hurriedly dispatched a bunch of second fiddles to Washington (Douste-Blazy and co.)

Anyway, it's better to keep the French out of it since they would surely screw up the whole operation: they'd team with the Northern Alliance --not to please Pakistan-- and then, think about it: while the US takes care about sparing civilian casualties, the Northern Alliance just doesn't give a hoot about "collateral damages"... Now, do I need to draw you a picture? Qatar's Al Jazeera network would mix up pictures of US Tomahawk "smart" missiles with footages of bloodshed and civilian casualties by Northern Alliance's shelling of Taleban cities --VERY BAD PR!!

Gus.
