I hope my sincere response was not misunderstood. I have seen China screw up lots of markets (mercury, REE, graphite, antimony, etc). For some reason, the Chinese factor seems to be forgotten when dealing with commodities. Maybe that is a throw-back to the old days when we only had production stats for non-Communist countries. The fact that China was not considered as a source of silver would add perspective to the multitude of reports that we have seen in the past year forecasting a radical upturn around the bend for silver. Perhaps that explains why something that seemed so certain is not happening as it should have.
