<<I much rather respect Abbey Joseph Cohen for her perceptive timing>>

... I understand that Fleck is a long-term and radical bear, and as such what he says must be taken as just another voice ... however Ms Cohen has been totally wrong for almost two years ... as has another bold bull, 'Joey the batman' of Gruntal ...

... it has been well worth the effort to me to listen to all the voices out there, and then sort it out on my own ...

... an idea ... the next time a broker calls you looking for your business [or even one of your present broker(s)], I suggest testing him/her with a question similar to this ... "On January 1, 2000, I had large position(s) in SUNW, EMC, CSCO or whatever, and my broker never told me to sell them. My question, when would you have told me to sell?" ...

... I tried it recently with a broker who is a good friend ... it struck him silent - and he is never at a loss for words, finally saying, "I don't know, but I will try to do a better job" [which was a decent and honest answer]. You could almost hear his mind whirring. Accountability is an amazing thing.

He ended up recommending two stocks, which I promptly bought through e-Schwab. I also, made him a promise, that if they did well enough to justify the full service fees, that I would open an account with him after the first of the year.
