>I am back to the mode of believing that the U.S. shouldn't be asking any country for anything. We should tell the people who we want to be our friends what are plans are and they should volunteer. We shouldn't even have to ask at this point.<<

I think it is FINALLY hitting home wrt the waffling states.

They are just beginning to realize that the terrorist network is more of a threat to THEM than they are to US.

And I think they would really love us to backpedal, just a "little" to give them more waffle space.

So the choice has to be made. Which side are you on? It's high time we turned into Harry Callahan...

""I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?"

In a game of high stakes poker, you better have more than luck.

Most excellent rant, btw.
