But quit blaming the poor CIA. They are just bureaucrats, not a rogue agency, no matter what you see in the movies.

I think you will find in the years to come that you are mistaken. My personal belief is that there are individuals within the CIA that are the enemies of America. An investigation will eventually show you who those individuals are. The terrorists knew the inner workings of how the President is protected and what code words are used. How do you think they knew that if not from the CIA?

I have never been interested in watching movies involving the CIA conspiracy theories. My opinions are based on my gut instincts and the evidence that we have seen even the U.S. government admit to in public.

I agree the CIA is severely under funded and has been for a long time because American politicians thought there was nothing in the world left to fear ... that is one of the reasons America was not properly protected.

America's biggest problem is not their foreign policy but their lack of a proper defense which involves well funded intelligence agencies. Intelligence is the best self defense against countries that export terrorism. You can have the best military weapons in the world ... but if your intelligence is lacking you'll just end up hurting yourself. You have to use the right tools to fight ... the weakest link for America at present is intelligence.
