<<The implied expectation is that part of U.S. foreign policy is supposed to be designed to help the world at large, to make it a better and safer and more prosperous place. >>>

You got it all wrong buddy. Thats the picture US projects. Of selflessness, and sacrifice.

Tell me US didn't go to war for Kuwait to save oil. Tell me it was from the goodness of your heart.

Tell me US is not fighting Afghanistan coz US doesn't want OBL to destroy its cities and kill Americans.

You can't tell me anything of that kind.

Then why isn't US saying what its really doing, what this war really is for ? Whats with this We-Want-to-Root-Out-Terrorism-In-The-World attitude ? Say We Want to Root Out Terrorism From US. Doesn't matter if 35 people were killed in bomb blast and terrorists opened machine gun fire in Kashmir two weeks ago. US should verbalise its foreign policy. Say "Thats ok. They were not Americans. Their lives don't count."

As always, IMHO ! :-)

You know how lies affect me !!!
