Incidentally, Vulcan Ventures, Paul Allen of Microsoft's holding company, has many social circles, business circles, with the Carpoint people, owned by Microsoft also. Joseph Charles, and more importantly some of their brokers who have come and gone and come and gone with National Discount Brokers, operated, by the same Horowitz brothers that also brought us GNET as well as NVDC and some other IPOs during the last IPO binge.
