Yes stops DO have their place. I agree 100%. But just not here, not now...

Why all the talk of stop losses?

Sure there is a time and place for stop losses. Right now is not one of them.

INSP is way too volatile to place a stop loss. Swings of 15% are too easy to do. The feeling on this board that you will lose your shares to those who would control the price to get them seems accurate to me.

If we can trade 10 million shares in the range of 1.54 to 1.57, where the majority of shares changed hands today, then why would this stock trade as low as 1.47 on minimal volume in AH?

Don't act rash. If you do not know why you bought this stock, then you should not be here in the first place risking money you most likely cannot afford to lose.

This stock has traded in the range of 2.3 million shares per day as of late. Near the beginning of the year it was trading over 7 million a day, on average.

What is important to consider is that just a few weeks ago, INSP was trading at 1.16. Since then we have had successive days of gain and about 3 or 4 days of at least triple the recent daily average in volume.

On each of those days, the stock price has been successively higher, including today.

Closing prices today do not mean a thing. Again, close to 10 million shares traded around 1.56 (on average). So why look at AH trades of 400 or 800 shares of 1.48 as reason to panic?
